Update: I began with the 8000 words I had written during Nano and continued on with the story as of January 5th with a goal to write 500 words per day at the same time as having a full time job, being a husband and father, as well as nearly constantly shoveling my driveway. 40 days into the task, I am averaging 540 words per day and still on track. Slow and steady is going to win this race for me.
